I spend a lot of time reviewing products and medications available to those with diabetes. Is that considered part of diabetes education to contribute towards my 800 hours of diabetes education experience?

Unfortunately only the time you spend teaching those with diabetes, those at risk of diabetes, or the care givers of those with diabetes contributes towards the 800 hours. Self-education, or preparation of medications for those with diabetes does not contribute towards this time.
