In regards to the 800 hour requirement needed to write the exam, does my nursing practice over the years working in the community and now in the hospital count?

When calculating your time you may only utilize the experience that you have when you teach those with diabetes, those at risk of diabetes, and the care givers of those with diabetes, that was obtained within the immediate three years prior to making application to write the examination.
