The CDECB respects your privacy. The CDECB protects your personal information and adheres to all legislative requirements with respect to protecting privacy.

The CDECB does not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists.

The information you provide will be used to deliver services and keep you informed and current on our activities, including programs, services, special events, funding needs, opportunities to volunteer and give, and more, through periodic contacts.

The CDECB reserves the right to confirm/publish the names of those with certification designation.  If you do not wish this information released, you must notify the CDECB office in writing by Registered Canada Post Mail.

The CDECB may distribute materials from third parties such as educational organizations and industry, who wish to promote special events and/or inform diabetes educators of new products and resources for diabetes management.  Prior to such distribution, the CDECB reviews all materials to ensure such is relevant to the practice of diabetes education.  If you prefer not to receive these mailings, please advise the CDECB in writing by Registered Canada Post Mail.

If at any time you wish to be removed from any of our contact lists, simply let us know, providing your name, address, as well as your phone number and area code. We will gladly accommodate your request when received  by Registered Canada Post Mail.

The certification process for diabetes educators is designed for eligible health professionals who are currently practicing in diabetes education in Canada.

Registration for the 2025 CDECB Exam and submission of Credit Portfolio is open.
